I've been on quite a journey this year, a busy one & that is an understatement really. Its to be expected that when you're busy some things don't get done, they're either not important or ARE important but you just can't find the time to get them done. Project Life was one of them. It is something I LOVE to do, I have a huge creative passion for Project Life but unfortunately with everything going on in our lives it was one of the first to be left uncompleted. Not anymore, because I've found a solution, in two words, TRY MONTHLY.
I'm going to be honest, my obsessive compulsive disorder is going to have a tough time with this monthly concept, but I'm trying to push past this repetitive, compulsive ritual behaviour of mine and just DEAL with it. Because I have too. You can't have your cake & eat it too? Or can you? I've never really understood that idiomatic figure of speech. I don't particularly want the whole cake, I just want a small piece please. By doing project life monthly - is my small slice of cake!
The beginning of 2017 should be completely different to the beginning of 2016 for me, not as busy I hope, so I'm going with a weekly format for Project Life, but I know that this can change & I can still take on the monthly format if need be. This is the great thing about Project Life, there are no rules, you make the rules. I'm going to go with 6x12 next year, I have recently purchased what feels like the last remaining 6x12 album on the planet & I feel I should not waste this opportunity. I love the idea of 6x12. We will see how it goes.
Yesterday we went to the local Art Gallery & we loved the 'Frugal Forest' exhibition, the girls were in awe that this was all made out of recycled materials. It was amazing!
