I've missed you. But at the same time I haven't, makes sense right? See the past couple of months have been a total blur, a haze, a bright light, and totally thrilling. For those who don't know, I have been on internship in a beautiful kindergarten class & I have had the pleasure of watching them grow over the past 15 weeks, I can't believe that in two weeks it will all finish. I'm crossing everything and anything that when its all over I get to do some casual work there or even block work, I really hope so. I love teaching.
Anyway, enough of what I've been doing, what have you been doing? Have you missed my creative work, I know I have. Being a teacher (and I can call myself that now, its amazing to hear and write that) you pretty much have to be creative everyday, so technically I haven't stopped. But I have missed my scrapbooking and project life and being a pretty paper artist. Its the holidays soon so I can't wait to catch up. I did a little this weekend, and I'm sharing with you my layout that came together over three days. That's a long time for me. It was hard to stop. I used the Studio Calico 'Film Club' scrapbooking kit, which I only opened for the first time this week. That's when you know you've been busy, when you don't have time to look at your happy mail. Oh dear.
By only creating when you can, I believe its more organic, I'm not under pressure to create at the moment other than for Crate Paper (and I wouldn't call it pressure) so when I can fit it in, it feels amazing.
I hope your long weekend (in Australia) has been a relaxing one, I know mine has, it has been good to just chill and catch up on the 'home' front too plus I got some shopping in too. Yipee.
